The privacy slider is so slim it's basically invisible on my laptop, and the slide mechanism feels sturdy enough that it won't loosen up after a few weeks. I've had bulky covers before, but this one doesn't interfere with the lid closing at all.

It takes two seconds to slide on and forget it's even there, which is exactly what I wanted for my laptop. The ultra-thin profile doesn’t block the screen hinge at all, and the peace of mind knowing no one can peek during video calls is worth every penny.

The slide mechanism feels solid, not flimsy, and it’s so thin I forget it’s even on the laptop lid. It took me about five seconds to install, and now I don’t have to worry about accidental camera-on moments during calls.
